The wisdom of Mary Lou Retton

I have been meaning to write about my favorite comedy show at this time: Happily Divorced.  But it is the wisdom of this gymnast what has caught my attention  a minute ago.  I have never been a sport person, but I do remember her and watched some of her performances. I have seen her through the years doing some other things and have always feel her natural, happy, vibe as very likeable.  But, today this interview/video about her thinking around working out and sports related to her daughters has confirmed to me that she is a Wise Woman/Mom.

I greatly appreciate her feedback about how to approach healthy living, which for e is nothing else than living from your very vortex.

Love it, Mary Lou!

Kirstie Alley’s renaissance

We both, Kirstie and I that is, come from very different stand points of view about life, but given that we are all One, there is something in her that makes me happy. I love seeing her shinning through. There a special exhilaration when you see someone being inside his/her vortex. Kirstie’s expression, even figure, has changed so much in 5 weeks. She was ready to have fun from day one, but you can tell, she now owns more profoundly what she is doing next to that piece of man she is dancing with, love him big time!!!!!!

I enjoy that she is at the point of her life she is, proving to herself where the strength of her life is: in being absolutely happy!!

Love you, delicious people!!

Dancing With the Stars: Kirstie Alley

There is something about Kirstie that I love.  She can get so aligned with herself and be so funny that the girl inside of her pick a boo at you in so a sweet way.  I really really enjoyed this interview and wish her so much success in her adventure on Dancing With the Stars. Her sense of humor is irresistible! :)

Love delicious, people!

Aaron Zimmer NYC/ Zimmer TV

Aaron Zimmer

I really enjoy “surprises”… I just checked my youtube channel and stumbled upon an amazing project: a web reality series about being a musician in NYC.   With this production, Aaron Zimmer delivers interesting and very attractive content not only for those like me that are passionate about music, but also for the billions of us that know how delightful it is to follow your true desires in absolute freedom.  I very much believe what he states at the beginning of the trailer:  “The music business doesn’t so much exists any more…”  Listen to his proposal about what it means and how most bands and singers develop and grow these days.  I completely agree with him and know and feel the joy he must be experiencing while taking absolute control of his product.

Best wishes for this reality series and his new brand record!  :)

‘On The Floor’ By Jennifer Lopez (feat. Pitbull)

This new song “On the floor”can work wonders for JLO.  I immediately liked it and actually see her dancing to it.  Awesome! It has what the past song with Pitbull did not: good vibe.  Is an outstanding club song that anyone in the world can dance to.  Congrats!

I have just attracted another song for my daily 15 minutes Oxycise workout :)  How God is that?

I am so watching the premiere on American Idol this Thursday March 3rd.  :)

Enjoy the video teaser, delicious people and dance to it!

Cris Cab

My students and I have a passion in common: MUSIC!!!! A week ago, a Wednesday -our long homeroom day :) my girls asked me to listen to some Cris Cab. I looked at them asking with my face of a lost being, who that Cris was. When I saw him on Youtube I realized I had seen him on Facebook :) as my friend. I thought he was just the boyfriend of one of my students. They told me he goes to our brother school in Miami, how cool is that? Oh yes! I listened to his original song My life (so good) and the cover he has for Black and Yellow, which I completely loved! What I appreciate the most about him is his sweetness, simplicity, passion for what he is doing and how he is putting Miami out there in a very talented way that all of us can enjoy. His videos are so well done and all around the advertisement of his music so well organized and focused, it is hard to believe his still going to school as any other student. It is evident this guy wants it all and he gets it every time he sings. Congrats, Cris! :)

Here are two of his videos.

Enjoy, delicious people!

Oxycise!

Aubrey Lee

Almost ten years ago a co-worker in Cincinnati talked to me about a book he had borrowed from the library.  I do not remember the title but I have never forgotten what it was about.  I still even have some photocopies he made for me.  :)  Oh, Randy!! Good pal!  The book suggested a technique for losing weight,  a non traditional one and so simple it almost sound “silly”.    Oxycise is all about breathing in and out as your only workout to lose weight.  It started with Jill Johnson, maybe 30 years ago and now her daughter, Aubrey Lee is doing the same in a so renovated and appreciated way.  I gave it a try back then and I saw it working.

Recently, after few months of really been enthusiastic about losing some weight so I can fit in my current clothes :) I got so tired of the routine and here I am desiring again feeling the wonder of the oxygen in my body, it is so easy and satisfying setting some time aside to focus on only breathing without scoring any results I will give a try again.  We never get it wrong because we never get it done, so there is so much to gain.  We never stop desiring, how awesome is that??!!!  :)  And the best thing of all is that I know it works because there is nothing more powerful than focus/attention to what you want combined with oxygen.

So enjoy the material and give it a try; it feels awesome!!

Love you, delicious people!

Ricky Martin-Premios Lo Nuestro

Ricky Martin

As a Puerto Rican something that defines us well is music and charisma.  Ricky Martin has always displayed both in a way that has made us very proud.  Not that he should, but feels awesome looking at someone so confident.  I have always liked him so much.  I like his masculinity, his sense of style, the way he manages the movement of his body and the energy of his music.  Today I watched a video of his participation in Lo Nuestro Awards.  I felt myriad of goosebumps all over my body.  When I look at his legs I swear I shake!  :)  But, well, after a while I will calm down and everything is okay.

Enjoy his energy, babies!
